It all starts with the seasoning. Salt, pepper, parika, garlic salt and little Worcestershire sauce is our go to. Make sure you rub those spices into the meat so they can really soak in when the cooking starts. Making sure the grill is plenty hot, this is key so that you can sear each side. Searing the outside makes all the meat stay juicy on the inside. Once each side is seared grab your POPS Q TOOL and sear the outside edges of the meat. This stepp is very important when cooking steaks such as a ribeye because of the fat content. Searing the fat with add great flavor to the meat. Now you are getting close to being done but how do you tell how the steak is cook on the inside? Most people would take a knife and slice in to the meat and take a look, but this can cause the juices to leak out and loose flavor. Take one finger and touch the inside of your hand to the fleshy part right below your thumb. Near the top where you thumb connects to your hand is where about rare to medium rare is going to be, move down a thumb width and that is what about medium to medium rare should feel like on your steak. One more width down you thumb near your wrist is medium well to well done. Now that you know your steak is about ready take and rub some butter and garlic on it. This can be done by taking a little bowl and melting butter and chopped garlic. Brush this on your steak and let it baste in the sauce for a few. Now your ready to enjoy a deliceous steak but make sure to let it sit for about 8 minutes so that those juices reamain in the steak and not all over your plate!
